                currently possible.我的问题是: 1,比较双方 要求要对等,这里省略了主语speeds,但是谓动词are是对应的前面什么?

2,把D改成at much higher speeds than those对吗?

我的理解是

at speeds （which are）much higher than （speeds）are currently possible

2,把D改成at much higher speeds than those对吗?

感觉不对，those指代了higher speeds，还原后是这样的，at much higher speeds than higher speeds currently possible

应该是at speeds much higher than speeds are currently possible

这道题和prep 46有几分相似，但为什么prep46里就是用that，而这里要用are呢？是不是改为those更好？？

A: a level higher than were those， those were 和a level不对称

B: correct，that指代a level

C: would 应该是will

D: 同上

E: 同上

今天分别做了这两道题目-都错了，相当纳闷。为什么GWD21-1要用"are"呢，都不知道和前面的什么对应！？

Prep-46也做错了，原来后面的"that"指代前面的level，晕~~~

In prep 46, these is no such option available as "will soar to a level more than one-third higher than is" so those two answers do not confict. I do remember see some example which omit that/those but leave verb (is/are) there.

So I guess E is better. (I also chose D when I first saw it )
