我的理解是：首先本题考平行对称结构，所以B，C排除；其次，Sth. is Sth.意思是"...."就是"....."，所以有is的结构，is前后必定是相同性质的东西，因为不可能说"Eating apple is eating orange"，而是"吃苹果和吃桔子一样"，故此处同理，由于原文意思是"比较 the lightning-fast genius ....就是和比较the exquisite bouquet of a fine ....一样"，而不是"比较 the lightning-fast genius ....就是比较the exquisite bouquet of a fine ...."，所以A，E排除。

问题就是that是只指代前面的名词，还是包括名词+形容词。我的理解是前者。

当然如果是后者，那么这题为了避免歧义应该选E了. 尽管看上去怪怪的, 毕竟E无大错.

这里偶觉得是that指代的问题，that与所指名词为同类，但不是同一个。看看下面OG51。
