                           make do without在没有...的情况下, 设法应付过去

再读了读原句果然觉得b不好，把介词短语in greater detail唐突地插在中间，乃语法中的大忌。而且与than ever before 结合在一起，也清晰完整地表达了句意。
不过我还想问一句：你如何能一下看出make 的时态不对，既没有since...等表时间的状语，又没有其他动词。莫非你是通过句意判断的？虽然是如此，但对于完成时我感觉一般都得慎用，不知你能指点一下吗？

我主要是从意思上来的。从意思上说这项技术应该是早已产生了。
其次，我觉得如果该句要用现在时，最好能有now或today这样的字样清楚地表明其时态。（当然，不是说现在时就应该有这些词语）
BTW，than ever before的结构可以跟现在时、过去时、现在完成时连用。请看下面的例子，而且跟现在时连用时一律有now或today，难道这是巧合？
