D为什么不对啊

是因为the rate is more than half 这样的表达方式不对吗?

请大家帮忙,马上要考了，现在就是每次都SC 错一大堆,好着急啊...

D 改变了原句的意思. 原句没说 the rate of X is more than half

我觉得D不对是因为 rate不能is half? 应该是percent吧？half是多少percent? 所以不对

E和原句half都是用来修饰business的。

不知道我说的对不对...

1.原句得意思是fail这个动词

D改为－ing的动名词，做名词改变了意思和句子中心

2.falling有问题

falling可能造成歧异，即可做名词，也可做分词修饰the rate

意思就不对了

3.more than half

在原句中指得是mainstream American businesses

D改成指rate，错

while从句不用考虑考虑平行吗?

因为我当初做这题目时候是因为觉得

While the rate of ....,the failure rate for 前后平行所以才选D的

While 可以作时间状语引导从句的，有时可以用when代替

D，failing不好，应该用failure!
