being和there be出现错原则，看来也不是百试百灵的，大家有没有同感？

还是要多看看其他的不同点的

单凭这一点去排除选项太冒险了

一般相似的选项总有两处或两处以上的错误

深有同感，有很多类似的题目的.跟反新东方教条.楼主这两题有点折磨我了.希望这样的题目是最难题,不要再难了.应该不是简单题目吧

第一题让我想起GWD3-22,也是考make,争议题,头大.BD之争.

On account of a law passed in 1993, making it a crime punishable by imprisonment that a United States citizen hold gold in the form of bullion or coins, immigrants found that on arrival in the United States they had to surrender all of the gold they had brought with them.

第二题更让我体会到排除法的好处

我做到一题,答案选对了,还是觉得很别扭

我把答案放进去了

其实being和there be使用的选项只是出错率偏高而已。

being 的题还可以理解，前面的选项代词指代不清，

there be 的题我觉得楼主的选项不是很好吗as...as...后面对称！

这题怎么做呢？

there+抽象名词在GMAT里面经常错，+具体名词则不

而Being经常错是因为，作为分词修饰产生累赘，比如The man being in red < the man in red。介词后面跟being，也就是说being做句子中的成分表达被动或者状态的话，不能轻易排除。

这道题目很好。验证了there be的比较用法。

其实应该as where the也可以，相同主语省略，但是没有这个选项。

还是不太明白第一题.总感觉being怪怪的. OG里being出现的有86题A. OG的解释是: shoud be omitted...  还有在102和261.解释都是suggests ongoing rather than completed action...

我记得除了before等介词后加being别的好象还没见有对的. 不知道这里B错在什么地方.

第2题的C错在什么地方? 为啥非得是主谓比较? 理解为households间比较怎么不行了?

GMATPREP的答案好奇怪,我今天竟然碰到了夹心修饰算对的题!!!!!

第二题C的whose用的不好，应该用where比较好吧,和未划线对称。况且C的those也指代不清，前面的复数名词太多啦。

第一题，我感觉because状语从句做主语不好（不知道这么说对不对？）况且也不是because发出make这个动作，而是because的具体内容a plant is genetically engineered 这个事实make。。。另外，这里本也没什么因果关系
