Thanks, yao. I do not know that "bullshit" could be a dirty word. If that, I would like to get it back.

Actually, I cannot find any point that is related to why LZ want to do phd in b-school, at least, nothing from what you state here. If I were a professor, I will doubt your motivation and ask whether you are right person I can work with in my life.

什么，leighyao，powerapple，我在美国10年了，脏话永远是脏话；看看你们的回复，实在太自以为是了，我见过和没见过的牛人太多了，你们算哪根葱，整天在网上瞎晃悠，一看就是一事无成的料。

那个FEIFEI800也是，说话太不应该瞧不起读其它major的同学，每个major都是各有特色的。别应为自己没被入取而灰心。

我身边有案例,不是商科类PHD,是生化类postdoc申请.给MM作个参考而已.

他是国内拿的博士,在国内发过国际8分左右的文章.虽然在国内算不错了,可是在美国这边同等硬件的人有的是.

美国牛老板牛实验室最后要了他,专业排名全美前三.说,他身上的high motivation是别人身上没有的,为了他这个high motivation这老板据了很多发文章分数在16分以上的美国人.

你这么年轻,如果真的对做研究感兴趣,那就好好秀秀你的high motivation, 一定可以的.硬件差不多就行了.

美国人中,也有很多是真心对做研究感兴趣的,不要轻视他们.他们如果决定读PHD,通常很清醒,比大多数的中国人都明白自己为什么读PHD.
