答案选c,我当时是用后面的动词判断的,但不太明白rate后面为什么用for不能用of?

但也有的时候用的of吧,有没有什么特殊的意义和用法呢?

MM你的OG上是怎么说的？我没有看过11版，10版上说when rates
means “prices charged,” it should be followed by for。

rate用of的应该更多，比如rate of increase, rate of failure, rate of divorce等等，但用到price charged的时候你就记住用for就行了。

说的更清楚一点，rate作“比率”解的时候用of，rate作“钱、金额”解的时候用for。
