前几天收到QUEEN的拒信, 实在想不通为什么, 就给那个面试我的BEN写信去问, 想不到他的回信令我更吃惊, 难怪今年鲜有被QUEEN录取的消息. 信的内容摘录如下:

什么逻辑，什么叫"due in large part to the proliferation of rapidly-improving MBA programs in China.  Consequently, we will then see a reduction in the number of Chinese students in the Queen's MBA program"，恕我愚顿，这个因果关系偶是没有看明白。

至于说communication skills确实是中国学生面临的问题，但是这样以偏概全的定论我只能说对这个BEN很失望。

如果是我：

1。写信去感谢你的interviewer，感谢他诚实的分享了这么多信息给你，你感到非常shocked，并且希望能够继续和学校交涉，并询问他是否介意你依据以上两条理由和学校进行讨论，是否愿意提起他的名字，是否愿意告诉你这个信息的确切来源。既然你的interviewer这么直接的对你说了，他很可能会答应你的要求。

2。写信给学校的admission。如果alumni同意，可以把以上事实陈述一下。以下理由一定要罗列清楚，根据自己的愤慨程度调整一下语气：

a. 中国作为一个发展中大国，其学生去你们学校读书，可以给你增加更多的中国perspective。如果queens的定位还存在国际化这一条的话，盲目拒绝中国学生绝对不是一个好的选择。

b. 目前所有的top b schools都在中国扩招。越来越多的中国人去了美国的学校。申请人数下降貌似并非事实。

c. 对于语言能力的问题，国际学生在这方面的确有很多困难，不仅仅是中国学生。作为学校你们应该提供帮助，而不是盲目拒绝。学校应该提供的语言学校的信息，建议学生报名，再好一点自己可以做个语言的program。我相信大部分中国学生是愿意参加的。如果学校在任何努力都没有做的情况下就拒绝了英文不好的人，就证明学校的目的是要educate English speaking leaders，是个local school，最好以后就不要在中国发什么申请信息了。

d. 表示一下自己对这个消息的震惊。希望学校可以给出明确的答复。如果仅仅是因为自己是chinese，所以被锯掉的话。这将在中国申请人中造成很不好的影响。隐含的意思是：你queens以后还想不想吃中国市场这块肥肉了。

3。如果你还是很想去这个学校，就不妨直接打电话去跟他们说。一方面是表示一下自己的口语不应该是他们的concern，另外一方面表示一下忠诚度和喜爱程度，最后用以上那些理由让他们明白这么做的后果非常严重。

难以置信，如果是我，我就放弃申请。这种人做了assistant director，想必学校录取政策上会有很大问题。
