As my application on Accounting track has almost approached to its end, I would absolutely be interested at doing something for the new-comers. The attached PDF file is the list of schools which offer PhD program in Accounting, and the number of graduates through the years, till 2003. Totally, there are slightly more than 90 schools on the list; however some of the school are not actively accepting students on Accounting track such as Vanderbilt, Lehigh, Rensselaer, Rice. This certainly makes the number of schools down. There is no enrollment figure on this list, but I think we can basically figure this out.
