Thank you for information about CUHK. I think that they will admit students from the first round, because many students from good univs in China applied.

GSU is also my backup school actually.

I got the same email last week. Then got a phone call on Monday. They just asked me if I had any question about their program. Didn't ask me any question at all. Then today, I was just about to withdraw, however, I got a denial email from them. Couldn't figure out why. Maybe somehow they knew that I didn't seriously consider their program. Prof. Brown is definitely well-known in the academia, but still I don't think their entire accounting faculty is very strong and the placement is not that good either.

berkerly has a very very small program, and the placement there doesn't match well with the school's reputation. I didn't apply there anyway.

Completely agree!! But I did apply to them anyway. I think their faculty backgrounds even don't match the school's reputation either!
