看到很多人在选校时都在考虑学校的位置，未来就业前景， 还有读书时的生活费用，等等，推荐一个网站，你可以比较工资水平，生活费用等。

比如说从德州奥斯汀如果挣9万一年的话，搬到加州的San Jose就要挣16万多才能持平。

500 bucks for housing are nothing in San Jose or LA either

a couple I know in San Jose sold their 1500 SQFT apartment with one garage at prices of $490,000 and spent $700,000 to buy another same sqft apartment with two garages. Can't believe one garage is worth  200,000 bucks.
