I have asked some friends in China to help me get official transcripts from schools I attened. But it will take a while to receive it, especially under the condition that most schools are in winter break and won't be back until middle Febuary. Many schools accept unofficial transcripts before admission decisions. But it seems like Kellogg requires official transcripts in place before application deadlines. Could you comment on it? Is it true? If yes, is there any workaround, e.g. submitting unofficial ones?
I dont know why you need to get it from the schools you attended in China. If a school accepts unofficial transcript, it will provide a spreadsheet file for you to fill out the grades. you can just fill it out and then upload it. Once you were admitted, you will be required to submit the official transicpt for verification.
It is true for some of the schools, but not all of them. As I know, Kellogg requires official transcripts before admission decisions. Does anyone who is familiar with Kellogg know whether it's true or not?
