这题开始我也错了,选了C.开始以为Spwaned修饰mushrooms and rootlike tentacles

我认为Spwaned和Extending同时修饰 an interwoven filigree,相当于两个并列的修饰成分。

不知道我的理解对不对，请大家多多指教，谢谢！！

分词的形式不一样spawned ，by是说明是被动

这样的杂交物an interwoven filigree 布满了方圆30英亩的 Michigan forest的土地。这里的分词是主动的。

如果是extended则表明and后面是一个动作，而and前面是一种对an interwoven filigree修饰

and前后的平行成分，概念不一样

这题好难理解啊，看了20分钟才明白在说什么

这道题我看了答案的解释后，就理解了。

其实如果能看懂这句话的意思就简单了。

extending表示持续到现在，其他的答案都没有这个含义！
