一般代词One做指代的规则是什么呢？大家谁有例子能不能结合起来讲讲？

我来举个例子，OG －9。

Astronomers at the Palomar Observatory have discovered a
distant supernova explosion, one that they believe is a type previously
unknown to science.

(A) that they believe is

(B) that they believe it to be

(C) they believe that it is of

(D) they believe that is（E）

(E) they believe to be of

one指代a
distant supernova explosion。答案是E，that是否必须省略，还是可以省略？请NN们指教。还有如果是that前面是those，又是什么规则？

ONE这里已经足够指代前边 explosion 所以THAT可省
