Admitted by Tuck.
About 11:30am I received several phone calls but I missed them. Just like in a drama, I just finished an interview with another school like a few minutes ago, and I was talking with several current students in the office. So I did not answer the phone, thinking it might be my hubby checking with me about how my interview went.
After the talk on my way back to hotel, I saw three missed phone calls from a strange numberon my cell phone. When I called back, I reached the voice mail of Ms. Pat Harrison at Tuck. Then I know 80% of chance I got it, because previously on BusinessWeek forum people were saying that a few days before the notification date Tuck would notify admission via phone calls and would issue dings via email. After a little while, I called again. She answered the phone and told me that I was admitted. She is a very nice lady, and I met her before in MBA Tour at Boston. So I thanked her, chatted a little bit, and she gave me some basic information over the phone, and also told me that I will receive more info via both mail and email.
Definitely I am excited. This is the first admission I have got this year, and even if all of my other applications were dinged, my mission this year is complished. When I visited Tuck last September, I just felt so strong about going there. I almost drop my hope for not receiving any information from Tuck after submitting my application. But finally I got it.
