some tips out of my mind:

For official transcript, usually your college will not send it for you, unless they are really nice guys or your college provide superior services to its students. So you will have to seal the transcript in an envolope and mail to school on yourself. (In my case, I did that and all the school accept that transcript, but there is the possibility that your school has higher standard on that.)

For your second question, I think none of us could answer that. It really depends on your background. But from previous data, we can see that the chances for the appicants to be admitted for 3 or 4 round is really limited.

1. transcript. Most schools accept online transcripts you filled out using their templates. But it's always fine for you to send transcripts to them in a package together with your other additional materials (actually some schools require you to send all these materials, including recommendations, in only ONE package)

2. for mainland applicants, all are not easy. But as you are located in HK, I guess you will have better chance? And I do think it's a bit late to apply round 3/4 (personally), especially that you haven't even taken your gmat yet.

I didn’t know that MBA application is so difficult and such a mission impossible job !  (really want to enter in Class 06, so need to add oil! )

Few more questions.....

Can I just submit the application essays, GMAT score online first and send the outstanding items afterwards?

The Stage 3 application deadline for USC is 15 Feb 06.  Does it mean that I have to submit everything by the deadline?

1. Online application form - Essay (I could submit this 100% for sure before the deadline)


2. transcript + 2 letters of recommendation (could these reach the school after the deadline?, is the time counted as mail chop on the letter?)


3. Official GMAT score – can the score reach the school after the deadline? I will take the test on 2 Feb 06, can the official score reach the USC by 15 Feb 06 (Stage 3 deadline?   Or the unofficial score is still acceptable? )

It really depends because every school is different. It's better for you to direct call the school admission office rather than post here because your questions are quite specific, which the adcom will provide exact answers.
