Hello, overmars.  我是05 intake的，和06 intake的也经常交流，有几个还比较熟。 发现的确是长江后浪推前浪，一蟹胜于一蟹，想不认老都吾得啦。。。06年的是比较优秀，从搞活动来看是比较积极和Competent。从student profile differentiation来看也比较强，company/career background 来看也比较强，从同学们财力来看也较强。

跟SZ office聊过，说主要是这几年UST名气大了，来申请的人多了，因此学校能挑到分量较大的学生。

也就是说Admission约来约难了，要报名就要早了。

leontiff， 这个问题很难回答，你指的是香港政府还是大陆政府啊？个人理解香港政府对香港科大的MBA学生没特殊看待。

Hello 天道不孤，没听说有同学从深圳到HK PT上课，不太现实。（1）时间问题，UST在香港西贡，较偏僻，交通时间较长（2）HK PT某些课是在周日上，每周两晚，而且是在港岛商业区上，从深圳赶过去太累了。（3）HK PT没奖学金。

香港人来SZ上SZ PT的到有几个。（1）在深广工作的，（2）想多了解国内情况的，（3）想省学费的。。。

Hello shrekwind，

Want to clarify something here:

1. I'm not quite sure if the SZ program accepted by Chinese Government or not.  Does it matter anyway except that you want to pursue your career path in the Government firm?    HBS, Wharton and many other good BS oversea are not accepted by Chinese Government as well.

2. Agree that the alumni is not as good as expectation.  This is mainly because that the SZ UST MBA PT program has established not more that 5 years and therefore the graduated student number is limited. Also hard to find volunteer to form the committee team.   On the other hands, the alumni of HKUST performs much better, they have full time staffs for adminstration stuffs. The SZ UST PT's alumni committee has just formed couple of months ago.  I'm looking forward to see the team to strengthen the student network.

3. For program management prospective, HK UST's program management skill is tremendous.  Few days residential and ELP program held in HK campus are very impressed.  Very professional.  For SZUST office, there is a lot to catch up.

thanks to upper floor's jcfong, i think my luck might come and get the conditional offer before taking the GMAT, but just want to know, what is the minimum acceptable GMAT result for SZ programme?? who made the lowest GMAT record to be accepted by the SZ programme??

I suppose SZ program has taken great care to the PRC students in great deal.  To my knowledge last year the cut set as b/w 540 ~ 550.  This is far below than that required by top school.  HK campus's requirement is set as higher say, 600~650.

BTW cey23213, know that last year people got conditional offer finally get rejected because of the GMAT result.  The guys retake the GMAT and join us at the second year.

jcfong, thanks for your feedback. I agree with u since the SZ program just started with 21 students 5 years, get better and better reputation. I have knows some 2006 intake with good profiles.

all the above guys, anyone got interviewed in Jan 2007 got offer for the SZ programe??
