to be a medical doctor, med school is a must. to be a lawyer, law school can't be missing. but to be a successful businessman or businesswoman, b school isn't the only way to help one reach the goal.
b school application is an interesting experience. the last 3 months is a time period during which i did a lot of reflection. i think i have known myself even better than ever.

Our decision is not a reflection on your intellectual abilities, personal achievements or potential success in management. The factor that most often contributed to our decision to not admit an applicant was the rigorous competition created by a strong applicant pool and our commitment to maintain a small class size. This year’s pool is exceptionally strong; we know that many of the applicants who were not granted admission possess excellent characteristics that will serve them well in business school and beyond.
Sending this letter to an applicant who has applied in Early Action and shown significant interest in attending Tuck is the most unpleasant responsibility I have.
