require 可是是虚拟也可以用require to do
如果用虚拟，则应该是 that employers  retain all older workers
这里用了被动
而且直接用employers to retain all older workers简洁些

143  用的是虚拟
demand that +do

也就是说138中的 require x to y 不是虚拟， 对吗？不然为什么不能用demand x to y in 142. 虚拟只用demand that ...do，对吗？ 还是不懂142的E， 不管虚拟不虚拟，不能用 demand x to y？

to do 是动词不定式，当然不是虚拟拉

虚拟语气有很多种分类，比如表示愿望的，宁愿~~~不怎么~~~~~~~
表和过去的相反的状态等

这些在ETS的语法里不太考
我们这里考的虚拟便是；
当一些表示：愿望，建议，命令，请求的动词时
其后面的宾语从句用虚拟语气

如：order,demand,propose,command,request,desire,insist,recommend,require,urge等

我好象没见过这样用的

常见的用法便是：demand sth
或者是：sb is demanded to do sth
