provide sth. for sb./sth. to do sth.
for classifying中的classifying是动名词形式，划线部分表示为classifying提供support，而非提供support用来classify

support for是固定搭配，只能选D，我查了很多词典，确定如此。

根据语意精确度来判断，classify的时候这些证据都已经有了，时间上是同时的，而to classify强调了时间的先后顺序。而且翻译过来，D提供证据能分类，E提供证据专门来分类，仔细体会下意思～
