LBS 的mba vs MASTER IN FINANCE

Because my friend who has handed the applciaiton form which required him to agree on the school can carry out background check without notice to him. And as I know the LBS MBA also carry out background checking before offer is release. that's why my friend is wondering about that.

"Can" means the school may or may not do that. Nothing to worry about if your friend provides reliable informaiton in his application. Be honest, as future employers will verify your background anyway.

钱赚够了肯定有人会选择读书，但真喜欢做研究的就去念PhD了。金融硕士对你说的那类人而言不是一笔好的投资。当然，公司出钱想趁学习忙里偷闲的个案除外。依据职业目标，金融硕士对于主攻General Mgmt的MBA或者JD毕业生附加值更高。

还想问下,好象每个top的商学院都有交换生项目,比如LBS就和很多美国商学院有交流生项目. 请问一般的话交流生都是安排在什么时候的啊? 会影响到第一年结束时的暑期实习吗? 这种项目的价值大吗?

If you like something, just go for it. Life is short and one should make the most out of it.Depending on what kind of job you want, I am sure there are some transferrable skills you have learnt from the major, like quant, analytical.

Applications for 2nd year exchanges take place in the second half of the 1st year. It doesn't affect summer internships as people go for exchanges during autumn or spring semester of the 2nd year.But going abroad in autumn may have some bearings on participation in on-cammpus recruitment if you fail to secure a full-time offer after summer.

As for the value, big name, top school do help your CV. Good life experience as well. Of course, you can also avoid the high cost of living in London for a while

the MIF said require offical confirmation for the highest qualification achieved before offer is made, so i will send them my original transcript or they will contratc my universiyt directly?

Feel free to ask your admission officers! I guess you need to send them copies of degree certificates and transcripts ( with translation) sealed by the your univeristy.
