Should your 'deciphering' be correct, LRM schools roughly correspond to the Tier 3 cohort in our Placement Rankings. If the HRM ('H' for 'High') argot also exists, HRM schools are mostly those in Tier 1 and Tier 2 in our PR.

Again, [大梦三千](https://forum.chasedream.com/space-uid-1561277.html) made a number of excellent points. The Finance job market is stiffly competitive, but Finance faculty are the highest-paid overall. For instance, the starting compensation for an entry-level AP in Finance at Colorado Leeds School stands at $240,000 and above. Gladly, the compensation distributions based on school levels roughly correspond with the data that I had come up with and shared on the forum. Of note, compensations of research school faculty are about twice those of their teaching school counterparts. Competition for admission to business Ph.D. programs is easing to a certain extent across the board, as is evidenced by slightly dropping acceptance rates. This is arguably attributed to a slew of interwoven factors, inclduing MBA and specialised Master's program enrollment declines and hence the narrowing of compensation differentials between business school faculty and their counterparts in arts and sciences and even engineering.
