Initial Notification Date: Following a preliminary review of your application and materials, you will receive one of three initial notifications by the posted date for the round in which you submitted your application: invitation to interview, waitlist without interview, or denial of admission.
Final Notification Date: Following your interview, final decisions, including invitations to join the waitlist, will be released on a rolling basis and posted no later than the date noted for the round in which you submitted your application. Your decision will be posted to your Johnson Application page and you will receive an email message indicating that your decision is available.

2023-2024 MBA admissions essay prompts
Applicants to the Two-Year Ithaca MBA program must complete a Goals Statement as well as one essay. Applicants to the Two-Year MBA program may complete an additional essay to be considered for the Roy H. Park Leadership Fellows Program full-tuition fellowship award.
*Please note that consideration for the Roy H. Park Leadership Fellows Program is by invitation only. Upon completion of an interview, those selected for further consideration will be required to submit their Park essay in addition to participating in one of our Leadership Exploration and Assessment Days (L.E.A.D).

Park Leadership Fellows Program Essay (optional, Two-Year MBA only)
The Roy H. Park Leadership Fellows Program is a two-year, full-tuition fellowship award for Two-Year MBA candidates in Ithaca who have demonstrated outstanding leadership potential and who are committed to making an impact within their communities. Each year, fellowships are awarded to up to 25 incoming students with the expectation that they will participate in additional leadership and personal development activities outside of our regular curriculum, serve in leadership roles within the school, and complete a public service project by the time they graduate. The Park Fellowship is only available to U.S. citizens applying for the Two-Year MBA program.
Candidates being considered for the Roy H. Park Leadership Fellowship will be notified after their admissions interview with an invitation to join us for one of our virtual Leadership Exploration and Assessment Days (L.E.A.D.) events. Candidates invited to attend a LEAD event will be required to submit a response to the Park Fellows Essay.
