这是正确的形式，但是我觉得，from 1978 to 1985是一个过去的时间段，是不是应该用过去完成时态啊？... had more than doubled from 1978 to 1985

过去完成时表示过去的过去，from 1978 to 1985只是表示一个过去时间段，不需要完成式

过去完成和现在完成不一样吗？如果是from 1978 until now，那就应该用现在完成时态吗？
