Think about the bright side.  If the essays are difficult for you, they are probably difficult for most other potential applicants.  This could turn out to be a contest of determination and tenacity.  The more people get scared away, the better chance you have to be admitted, right?

MICHIGAN的第三篇内容要求跟IDAISY所说的COVER LETTER相仿，也是500字！

所以看来不只是MIT一家的要求了，个个都是狠角色。
