托福一题语法求解put into orbit

托福1998~1999有一道语法考题如下

Much more power is required to send a spacecraft to the Moon than to put into orbit

around the Earth.

答案是put into是错的！但字典中所查用put into orbit是有此用法

请问有谁能告诉我到底出了什么错？

Naturally pink in a color, litmus turns blue in alkaline solutions and red in acids.

答案又为什么是 pink in a color?

這題講的是石蕊(試紙),在自然狀態下是粉紅色的,碰到鹼性溶液變成藍色的,而在酸性溶液中變成紅色的

1 put it into，缺一个it指代spacecraft

2 color泛指颜色的时候不可数，不加a
