不好意思纠正一下 B最大的问题可能是存在歧异 discovered 可以看作是 前面有is但省略 也可以看成是一个句子链接了两个不用的时态；同时后面的it指代对象也有歧义

我的理解也未必准确，当做探讨一下吧：用an修饰的石膏模型起初是还没限定的，一个模型，c选项的好处是用believed to have been used by M for his sculpture of David的修饰使得模型成为某一特定的模型（这一被相信是。。。的模型）；而b选项用and连接2部分谓语，and前面是一个模型（被相信被米开朗琪罗用于他的大卫雕塑）没有成为特定的模型，and后面是一个模型（被发现）还是没有成为特定的模型，使得这个修辞很奇怪--这是因为被相信和被发现都是谓语，没有修饰语造成的

感谢你的解释，我感觉你说的应该就是官方解释的意思。
还是可以靠平行并列排除的
discovered到底是平行believed；还是平行used呢。这个歧义导致了这个选项没那么好
而且如果比较BC的话，明显C看起来会更舒服

而原文的意思是想表达-被M使用的这个model被发现了
这是两个不同的意思  原文并不想表达B所表述的 而是想说这个特定的（M用的）model被发现了
