请教much和many用法的区别-OG SC-10

请教much和many用法的区别-OG SC-10

请教各位much和many用法的区别,我印象当中much是用来修饰不可数名词,而many是用来修饰可数名词的。可是OG SC的第10题答案竟然是A,就是说much可以用来修饰voters,这又是怎么回事呢?谢谢!


10.   However much United States voters may agree that there is waste in government and that the government as a whole spends beyond its means, it is difficult to find broad support for a movement toward a minimal state.


(A) However much United States voters may agree that


(B) Despite the agreement among United States voters to the fact


(C) Although United States voters agree


(D) Even though United States voters may agree

这里的much不是修饰voters的。句子翻译过来是“不管选举人多么赞成....,...还是很困难的。从意思上看however much是修饰agree的

非常感谢,这样一分析果然就可以解释了。


不过我觉得这句话如果写成No matter how much United States voters may agree that就更好理解了。
