The government has announced that it plans to build a new university. Some people think that your community would be a good place to locate the university. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of establishing a new university in your community. Use specific details in your discussion.

Modern university is a center of knowledge transferring as well as a industry promoting the economy. When it comes to building a new university in my community, I think there are both advantages and disadvantages. I will illustrate my points as follows.

To begin with, the most apparent advantage of building a new university in my community is that it will enhance the quality of local youth workers by offering them much more chances to study in an university. In the past, most adolescence in my community usually went to work after finishing their high school. But now they can go to the new university to acquire more knowledge and learn more up-to-date techniques, therefore become relatively high-quality workers when they finish their study in the university.

Secondly, building a new university in my community will promote the prosperity of the local economy in two respects. Firs, it provides many job offers to the local workers. As we all know, operating a university relies on a great number of staff, such as teaching staff, managing staff and so on. This huge demand will encourage more and more people to work. Second, building a new university in my community will stimulate the emergence of related industries. For example, the large daily demand for food will propel the development of agriculture.

However, there are also some disadvantages it will bring. For one thing, it will put more loads on the community's environment. Just imagine how much garbage it will be produced by all the people in the university. For another thing, the used tranquility of our town will be dispersed by the noise that might be brought by the new university.

To sum up, building a new university in my community both has its advantages and disadvantages. But, in my opinion, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, thus I think my community will be a good place to locate the new university.

个人感觉，你应该像做marketing那样找到在你的社区建大学的理由/卖点/优势，而不是泛泛说建了大学，你的社区会得到什么好处，因为在别的社区建一所大学也能提供教育机会和就业机会亚。你应该说，你的社区有很多青少年，会有教育需求，所以建大学很合适；或者你的社区地理位置很好，等等。

以上是我看到题目的第一个想法，不知道是不是wired了。

这个我开始动笔的时候也犹豫过，但是看题目，好像并没有说服一定要建在我的社区啊

所以就没有这样写
