Hey there,
Congrats on your offers! My advice would be to look at employment stats for each school to see if you see evidence that your target companies are hiring graduates. You can often find some employment data on the website, and the adcom can also send you additional details. Ideally you want to see that you target companies are coming on campus and/or actively hiring recent graduates and you also want to see a decent number of alumni working there (so you can leverage that network). Even if a school isn’t as “famous” in China, if you see good employment data then I think that school would still be a good fit. I wouldn’t worry about UCSD being too quant heavy – it’s an excellent program & you’ll be really well qualified for any job afterwards. The best decision for you is going to ultimately depend on where you want to work & the strength of the connection between that employer & the school.
