Fordham MSQF 2/19面试 [2019-02-19]

刚面试结束，面试官是一位中国教授，Qing Sheng。大概二十五分钟。
1.        Describe yourself.
2.        Take the derivative of x to the power of x.
3.        Integrate the function x*cos(x) over the interval -1 to 1.
4.        What is the Rank of a matrix?
5.        What is the first thing to do when you calculate the inverse of a square matrix?
6.        Describe the ODE (dy/dx)^2 = 4 （没让解）
7.        What is Venn diagram?
8.        If the joint probability of A and B is 0, what do you describe the relationship of A and B.
9.        Describe stock and bond.10.      What do you plan to do after graduation?
11.        What questions do you have for me?
12.        What other schools have you applied for?
问教授我有什么需要提高的，她说 “articulate your ideas and be able to present yourself” “make connections with friends”。最后她说good luck to your future.
教授说articulate ideas可能因为我说的实在是磕磕绊绊。这次应该会被拒，面试官未来好运都说出来了，我就当是积累经验了。总体来说我认为能流畅地讲下来最重要。
