今天抽签做了2002年10月的语法，大错4个......还好不是考试的时候错。。。

14. The invention of the compound microscope (which allowed much higher magnification through multiple lenses) made _____ the great strides in life sciences.

(A)  it possible

(B)  possibly

(C)  possible

(D)  it was possible

不明白为什么不是A，而是C。我们一直都说make it possible的啊~~~~

29.  The modern violin, the smallest and versatile instrument in the violin family, is

tuned in fifths and produces tones ranging over four and a half octaves.  

C                                              D

这里ranging 是什么意思？后面的是什么意思？the smallest and versatile 怎么不对啊，两个不一定最高级啊，一个最高级一个一般级的形容词也可以把？

35.  Orchid seeds take up to eighteen months to mature before they sprout, and the

young plants may need another two years to reach at the flowering stage.

C                                       D

这里是不是at应该去掉？at ...stage啊。这里偶选了个A，觉得take up to不顺眼。

constructed in the 1790's, also has been rebuilt or extensively remodeled

three times since.

three times since.？有这个表达的？since怎么放在后面是可以的？这个题目答案是C//////知道also应该改为and更好，但是这里three times since. 真的有点迷糊了

找到组织了，小妹我也是9.28 刚考完G，本想明年五月考T，可是突然间发现改题了，只有1月可以报名了，时间应该比各位松一点，但正好夹在我的考试周里估计到时候也挺麻烦的。我现在一点T的头绪都没有，本以为考完G应该没问题的，看到前面的帖子看来还差得远，哪里有全的资料去下啊？

这里是make sth possible, 因为sth太长了，所以后置了，如果要用make it possible的话，后面要加that...

ranging应该是音调的跨度吧。。最高级修饰的那个我也不懂。。可能TOEFL的公理吧，^_^

用，但是后面不会接动词at，而只在表达一些特殊意思、一些固定词语中用到，如reach after 努力谋
求, 竭力达到，手想抓；reach back 回忆, 回顾；reach for 伸出手去抓；reach out 伸手拿[抓]; 伸向前;
追求; 伸出援助之手, 提供援助。
特别指出A 选项中，up to 表示“等于”，是固定搭配。

大家有没有觉得2002年8月后（目前我做到2003-10）的听力越来越难呢？好象套路跟之前的不大一样了，不知道是心情问题还是真的题目没听出，错了很多13-17个，特别2003的8月和10月，速度还有点快。。。？新的词汇出现了很多.....大家有什么发表？

还是因为平时积累得少吧，不是听不清楚，每句话可以听清楚，就是没有“听懂”。

上周听托福听力还是一塌糊涂，后来仔细研读了上面这篇文章，并加以实践，发现听力有很大提高，强力推荐一下！
