想问一下，抛开as early as... 不能做表语这个错误，为什么说that was修饰不清呢？that was应该可以跳跃修饰前面的method of extracting mineral结构中的method吧？是因为相比C（不存在跳跃修饰）D更容易出现修饰不清的问题（that前有两个名词可被指代）吗？这个应该是一个相对性错误吧？

that的部分 这么想应该没什么问题
但是你这么改了之后呢 d选项的表达就变得啰嗦了 尤其是跟c相比起来 可以用一个adj或一个词组表达的 却要通过一个定语从句来表达
所以除了指代不清意外 还会存在不简洁的问题
