【已录】UC Davis MSBA 背景+timeline+面经

背景：美本top50，数学/统计专业，gmat 700，gpa 3.55，美国保险公司精算工作经验两年，两封推荐信均来自现公司合作过的manager

timeline：
10/9 提交r1
10/18 收到kira
10/21 提交kira
11/7 二面邀请
11/12 二面
11/19 verbal offer

kira（大致）：
1. What makes you interested in analytics
2. Which industry and company after graduation
3. Tell me about a time you completed something without enough information
4. Tell me about a time you convinced a group of people to do things in a certain way (written)

二面 zoom w/ Amy：
每个人问题应该都不太一样，主要根据你过去的经验来问。看去年的面经都说Amy会扣细节，但个人觉得并没有问的特别细，感觉上更看中表达能力。可以多准备几个project的例子用在不同的问题上。整个过程大概四十分钟不到。（还没结束就有后面的人打进来了，所以千万不要提早打哦）

1. Why actuarial science
2. Stats/Math courses taken in college
    - Mainly asked about linear algebra and calculus
3. Programming skill and level of experience
    - R, sql
4. Explain regression to a 10 year old
    - Based on your answer, what’s your dependent and independent variables
    - Other follow up questions
5. What role do you usually play in a team and example
6. Project you are most proud of or has a very big impact
7. Why grad school rather than keep working as an actuary (h1b抽不到啊，当然并没有这么说）
8. Some other resume related questions9. Q&A

目前只申请了UC Davis，因为已经是top choice了，所以可能最多再申请一所传说中的神校USF，如果一样能拿到offer的话再决定去哪。
