求各位大大解提点惑 有没有和我情况类似的？怎么选选哪些学校？

在职复习申请MBA中，与周围的同事朋友相比，深深的感觉自己是一个稀有的异类， 非常好奇周围有没有和我情况类似的， 如果有／或者是你，你会选择哪些学校？
说一下个人背景吧：
985本科，美帝EE MS，毕业后现在美帝工作近三年，公司算是电气制造行业top 3－－－对就是那家S开头绿色logo的公司。MS thesis 是 energy management system 可现在做的是general industrial control，偏硬件，不排斥现在的工作可总感觉scale小了些，现在的岗位感觉已经能够看到未来20年是个啥样的，对energy management还是非常看好，个人非常想要尝试一下consulting，表达能力还可以，日常工作就是跟人打交道，天天在电话上，周围同事评价没见过我这么能白话的亚洲娃娃，很享受／喜欢／善于向目标present自己的产品和设计。。。不好意思有些偏题了。  PS： 找G友共同杀G  有意私信我 谢谢！

想读MBA的原因跟个人经历也有很大关系，感觉现有背景在很多机会面前无法展示和受到重视，天花板太低太沉了，而且同级别或者往上1-2个level的同事和老板们话语权和思考决断能力都很有限。。。希望能通过MBA来越过这个ramp。。。周围人基本没有想着读MBA的，都是engineer，focus是这圈子里的人的共性，很多一FO就FO一辈子。。。

看了挺多帖子和各个学校有关MBA的信息，感觉没有特别针对electric这方面的，有些写着concentration 有energy的也是 oil&gas。。。
求指点 不知道有没有情况类似的  有哪些学校可以选呢

Thank you! I would consider schools such as MIT, McCombs, Haas, and LA-based schools. Electric right tends to be focused around autos, so even a school like Ross (near Detroit) is strong. This assumes you are considering US schools. In terms of non-US, I would focus on Germany and Swiss or France-based programs. Generally, you want to pursue an MBA, not simply to improve yourself, but to achieve a goal, both in the short-term and in the long-term. AdComs will want to see what specifically you want to achieve in the electric business segment. You really have to be super specific, as AdComs may not know what you mean by electric. Be sure to focus on schools then that can help you achieve these goals. Good luck!

首先需要看你是否需要读MBA，对未来的发展有多大帮助，我了解到的银行工作人员就是为了提职读MBA的，有一定的目的性，并能坚持读下来。其次学校及专业的排名也是需要看中的，排名越靠前越好。最重要的就是性价比，学习时间，学费，学校提供的资源都很重要。结合自身条件，相信你能找到理想的学校，年轻就不要浑浑噩噩。世界排名前200的学校，不需要语言成绩，有意向可以了解一下。

Yes, right now I am considering the business school in U.S. since I am currently working and living in North Carolina. I obtained a master degree in electrical engineering in U.S., and is currently working for one of the largest electrical equipment manufacture as an engineer for 3 years. I can almost foresee my live for the next 40 years being an engineer, hence I determined that is not exactly what I want. I consider MBA as a platform to get me exposed to more challenges as well as opportunity, or say, possibilities. I am excited about this decision however confused as well.   Your advises are very inspiring and helpful.  Thank you!
