A肯定不对，as后面根句子，A就跟了一个状语，并且in nuclear reactor没有相对应的in ~~~~.我在C,E之间犹豫，比较倾向于E,因为C这个do实在指代模糊，不知道指什么，逻辑上不对，感觉有歧义，可以指power.E很可能是unlike后置了！

我觉得其他的选项逻辑意思都不对。只有A，as后可以看作是如下的句子的省略，逻辑意思才正确。因为只有Nuclear fusion 才能 merge the nuclei of atoms 。

(A) ...as Nuclear fusion in nuclear reactors merge the nuclei of atoms ...

我想这可能应该从意义上着手。我前面提出了一个想法，就是nuclear fusion和nuclear reactors不同，NF是核聚变，就是merging...,NR是现在的核反应堆，是核裂变，只是split apart. 所以C：as NR do的do是有所指的.

as nuclear reactors do中的do指代什么（我认为是指代merging ，但是，为什么它省略的是前面的一个分词？而且，为什么不能指代更靠近它的一个分词呢？这由什么规则决定呢）？

og的解释好像看了与没看一样。所以，请NN们发表点看法。

OG－11不是这道题吧，我记得XDF老师曾经讨论过这题，C绝对错，因为merging the nuclei of atoms rather than splitting them apart作为现在分词的状语要考虑逻辑主语问题，但这个句子现在夹在两个名词nuclear fusion 和 nuclear reactors之间根本不清楚它说得是谁的状态（nuclear reactors 也可以作merging...的逻辑主语，语法上应该是没问题的）结果就是指代不清

这种错误好像OG上也有"批斗"过,不过我忘了是哪题了
