谢谢楼主，看完受益匪浅，只是有个问题想讨论一下：

因为昨天才做完这个题，A选项我感觉than比较对象也有问题，如果看成状语比较的省略，前面的句意是price是1.3%，那么后面加上省略就是price是1.3% a year ago。这个语义感觉不对，所以不能用状语比较，用主语比较。还想问问than后面没有加are是不是因为不会造成歧义，因为一般主语比较是要加上谓语动词的

B选项后面的fed on不是谓语-v，感觉没必要加do呀，听一个老师讲解也是让加do,不会双谓语吗
