Well, for many of your schools your GMAT is also too low, and you may also be too old for some of the programs. I think you may have underestimated how competitive the programs at the top are. Since this year’s applications are over, my suggestion is that you retake the GMAT and the TOEFL, and reconsider your schools for the nest time. And then apply next year with a more moderate and realistic school list.

I think you could if you told your story right. But one hint: moving to finance is NOT the right story. Nobody wants a vet to move into finance (not until you’ve proven yourself). So yes, you should find some way to make the most of your current experience… it could be something with health, something with pets or vets or animals, or something where at the least you could rely on the time and knowledge you have already worked so hard to gain!!!
