类似前两个题, difficulty 是可数名词啊,这里应该不能单独存在

Material & difficulty are both un-counttables here.
"哪个字典会标明名词的可数或者不可数"--------> I like Longman Contemporary.
2)< leader  of >,  some nouns express the idea that the person is the only one in an organization. They don't need a determiner before them.
e.g   president of the US
        chairman of GE.......
