国内投行3年准备18 fall申请MBA，求定位

各位大神，

转眼间离上次发帖已经过去5年。。现在又回来准备申请18 fall MBA，还请各位帮忙定位，好让我有个心理准备，谢谢！

age：目前27
w/e：目前2年；明年申请时满3年。国内某top券商一级市场，目前成了2个项目，其他正在做
学校：本科：财经类211，GPA不高，只有3.2+；硕士：美国小硕（30多名会计专业），GPA3.6
GT成绩：T105；G730（均已过期），假设申请时能达到同等水平的话。看了一下S16均分700-720不等
资质：AICPA，另外CFA Level 2准备中，希望申请时通过
Post-mba goal：平常工作压力不小，工作满3年想出去读书换口气，正好也再出去看看。  读完目标回国或去hk，做PE或者投资岗

疑虑：大概看了一下S16 class profile，平均w/e都是5年。。担心是不是工作了3年就去申请是不是有点不够？要不要再等1年？另外申S16希望大不？

我觉得首先是看你GT能考多少分。
3年工作经验不是你申请的短板。何况年龄也刚好在区间之内，只要招生规则里面没有硬性规定工作年限你就可以申请。

我认为最主要的原因是想清楚为什么申请MBA。在没考出分数之前咨询“我的背景能进什么学校”的人就像没有做检查就问医生”我得了什么病”的人一样，别人是很难给你准确的答案的。

楼主需要先想好自己的career goal和why MBA的问题。

其次，如果要申S16了，建议把GMAT刷到740以上，如果GPA不高，更需要一个高点GMAT来申请。工作年限虽短，但还好，需要说服AO为什么这时候想读MBA。

好好想想essay怎么写，有没有differentiate yourself的地方 和能打动人的故事。

Well your profile looks like it has a good base, but it’s very hard to evaluate because I lack detail about your work experience, and you don't have a GMAT. I think M7 will be a bit tough with your GPA and youth, but S16 would be in range if you can hit a 730 on your GMAT.

But there’s a lot more to your profile than just your industry!
ow quickly have you advanced? Do you have any leadership? What are your great achievements? Do you have notable community service or extra curriculars? Which school did you graduate from?

All of these will play important roles in your evaluation.

As well as your goals! What do you want to do after you graduate?
