答案选B，whereas同样是连词，为什么不选A？而且不管选哪个句子好像都没有主句，难道一个主句的主语可以就是most这样一个模糊的指代吗？迷茫...

2、an earthqueake that jolted what is now Seattle about a thousand years since may have caused major landslides.

第一题，后面的是主句，most 是主语 ，whereas 引导让步状语从句

改错1，D 中的from 改为form

改错2，我感觉是an改为the

不好意思，from是个笔误，本来就是form来的。随便再把答案说一下吧，两个改错都是C。我不明白1的D怎么对了，可数名词的单数形式单独存在了。2是把SINCE改成other wise吗？
