申请中如何看待GMAT和GPA的互补性

之前已经国外硕士毕业回国工作数年了，还是希望能够瞄准M7再冲刺一下。
8月草草过了一遍OG，9月直接过去竟然考了750，（V40+Q50+IR8），有点尴尬。

考虑到本人GPA很低，只有3.0。希望能在GMAT上弥补一下，但是750的成绩还是感觉不具备竞争力。
另外也不确定是否存在GMAT和GPA互补的命题，还是我自己在YY。

如果锚定M7,这样的GMAT是否依然成为学术评估的短板？

750的G分已经足够用了。。

不过据我了解，M7 GPA的平均数在3.2+，3.3.+，所以不确定3.0能否破格录，楼主可以试试。

另外，可以用选几所S16的学校申一申。

主要是因为本科GPA太低了。所以比较担心。研究生GPA还可以，但是估计不太认。所以想问GMAT是不是可以弥补。

多谢，因为已经有一个国外硕士的学位，还是希望能够冲刺一下M7。不然对我意义不太大。3.2的平均分，听上去3.0好像还有戏？

看工作经验的质量。如果F500之类的就不用太担心。
还看你硕士学校的档次，
最后gmat，750够用了
如果这几个都很好，就GPA低一些还是有机会的。

Hey there!
Well the GMAT will definitely PROVE that you are a very smart person! So it’s the BEST thing to do when you have a low GPA. But that having been said, it does ot necessarily “make up” for a low GPA. You will still be competing against candidates who have that GMAT AND the 3.7 GPA.

What you probably should do with a 3.0 GPA though is to write an essay that explains a bit,

明白。谢谢提供建议。硕士学校很一般。工作是在F500，核心高管业务助理。可能还是需要其他项目加强一些。

Yes, that's super helpful to me. What still bothers me is that the honest reason for low GPA is because I didn't spent enough effort on my junior and sophomore year.

Again, thanks for your advice I will definitely go for what you adviced.
