CD兄弟姐妹们，选校方面可以给点建议么，万分感激！

GMAT和托福都考完了，现在到了纠结选校的时候，也看了几本书，但是对各个学校的认识还是不够，所以想麻烦大家给点建议，申请成功后，一定回馈CD！
学历背景：上海211本科、工科、绩点3.1；上财的硕士、商科、绩点3.7，考研时的成绩专业第一
实习背景：麦肯锡和罗兰贝格
工作背景：四大的管理咨询，没有被delay过，表现挺好；截止今年6月份，工作正好两年
课外活动：无，这是我最担心的
GMAT：760
托福：一战107，二战刚考完，还没出结果
Post-MBA goal：去MBB做战略咨询，最好focus在金融行业，因为现在也是做金融行业的管理咨询
个人诉求：准备今年一定要申上一家，必须要有个offer

想麻烦大家的是对于申请的组合给些建议，我初步打算分成三个组合：冲锋组、维稳组、保底组（主要想平衡一下风险和收益，呵呵）
麻烦大家帮我决定下三个组合中分别应该选哪几所学校呢？我列了个清单（Anderson、HaaS、GSB被我剔除了）：
Wharton、Sloan、Booth、CBS、HBS、Kellog、Stern、Johnson、Fuqua、Insead、LBS、Ross、Tuck、SOM（Yale）、Darden

So my evaluation will be a little bit rough, since i would really need more detail to dig in deep. But basically, based on your GPA, school,  GMAT and employer, I would say:

Stretch: HBS, LBS

Match: Sloan, Booth, CBS, Yale, Kellogg, Tuck,

Safety: Stern, Johnson, INSEAD, Ross, Darden, Fuqua

Firstly, really appreciate your reply! Someone told me that since I will only have three years of work experience when my 2018 MBA program starts next year, it will be extremely hard for me to get an offer from S16. So he suggests that I should not apply for my dream schools firstly because if I fail this year, then it may become extremely hard to reapply next year. I am really not sure if my short work experience is really that big barrier?

Hey there,
Well from consulting it’s normal to apply with little experience. Be aware though that there are many many candidates from Big four, so it’s not enough to just be from there, but you need to be a top performer as well. The important thing is to stand out as unique and successful.

As for applying and failing - actually that is not true. On the contrary, if you apply, get a better profile and reapply, you have more chances of getting in and not less (of course it depends on the school, the profile, etc.)

实习特牛
G非常高是个好开始
可以用来补GPA
托福还要再高 平均是110
年资太浅，申今年风险会很高
就算why now解释得再漂亮，效果也有限
因为同学平均都是五年年资，很多都有主管经验
还有一堆是常春藤Dean’s List跟跳级生

咨询是不分行业的
要有跨产业的准备
这点在本科理工转商科硕士可以弥补

基本上，若学校发现申请人是为了申请而去玩课余做公益，很可能就会发拒信，但亡羊补牢犹未晚矣。都完全没有课余或公益活动，是肯定会被钉的
一方面，学生背景的多元性本身，就是商学院最重要的产品内容之一，另一方面，有太多变态申请人不但申请前就在MBB，还同时有一堆课余跟公益活动，搞不好还创过业卖了，赚了学费
这部分四大咨询相对就普遍很多
又年资这么浅，在760满天飞的pool里，必须还要有胜出点才行

目标学校太多间了
至少要砍掉一半
不然一方面会稀释专注力，essay都在打酱油，填申请表就知道有多累
另一方面，各校都会问你还有申哪几间，马上就会穿帮
因为对学校不了解，是由于对自己的不了解
可以把一些天堂上的学校先删了
再把一些中间犹疑的也删了
应该要删到只剩一间，再一间一间加回来
最多就是六间，真的不行才再加两间
因为等到死期后在等面试的时候，会坐如针毡，自然就会申到十间左右，这样还是太多了
没有特殊背景的话，HBS、Insead、LBS、Wharton、Yale都可以先拿掉
Kellogg拼错了也可以拿掉
MIT Sloan没有意外的话也可以拿掉
这样会专心很多，录取希望反而会增加很多
最后，目标的设定应该不是非要上一间不可，而是要上哪一间

首先非常感谢你这么用心的回答 其次有人建议我不要把dream school放在今年，说如果放在今年被拒，那么明年申请如果没有特别大的提升，则更加容易被拒，存在这种问题么
