Firstly, really appreciate your reply! Someone told me that since I will only have three years of work experience when my 2018 MBA program starts next year, it will be extremely hard for me to get an offer from S16. So he suggests that I should not apply for my dream schools firstly because if I fail this year, then it may become extremely hard to reapply next year. I am really not sure if my short work experience is really that big barrier?

Hey there,
Well from consulting it’s normal to apply with little experience. Be aware though that there are many many candidates from Big four, so it’s not enough to just be from there, but you need to be a top performer as well. The important thing is to stand out as unique and successful.
As for applying and failing - actually that is not true. On the contrary, if you apply, get a better profile and reapply, you have more chances of getting in and not less (of course it depends on the school, the profile, etc.)
