这里我的问题是

以我的做题经验来看一般情况下“and”的用法是 ①主语+动词...and动词，除非是插入语否则and前面没有逗号。 或者是，②一句话，and另一句话。 这道题and看似是第一种用法，但是前面有逗号啊。难道such as后面的是插入语？

国外的论坛上有一个人这么说[tr][/tr]

In option A, should ", and sell" be preceded by a comma ? As per GMAT , if two verbs have the same subject then the comma is not required. Here , pilfer and sell have the same subject.

也是同样的问题，求解！！

comma并不是GMAT里的考点，有没有comma对这里and的使用没有影响

之前版上Helr老师有讲过，在and身前加的逗号是完全没有问题的。

英语中逗号可以表示一种语气的停顿，而并非要表达什么特殊的含义（除了限定性定语和非限定性定语外，非限定性定语身前的逗号是有意义的）

关于comma，它最大的用处是使得句子的结构更加清晰，尤其是在GMAT当中，句子的原文通常是一段甚至一篇文章，被强行挤压成了一句话，这个时候句子中的成分容易过多（这也是GMAT常考平行的原因，为了没有语病，且清晰，一长段的复合句中很少能不出现平行）为了使得各类成分，各类平行更加简单明了，有时需要用comma进行隔断。
就拿楼主举的这个例子来说，
有comma的A： they can also pilfer valuable information such as business development strategies, new product specifications, and contract bidding plans, and sell
无comma的A： they can also pilfer valuable information such as business development strategies, new product specifications, and contract bidding plans and sell在无comma的A中划线部分很容易让人困惑，是 business development strategies, new product specifications, and contract bidding plans and sell，sell与contract并列组成 一个小成分再与前边的business blablabla及new product specifications形成一个大平行呢？还是sell与前边的pilfer平行呢？
为了使结构更加的清晰，and contract bidding plans前边的comma使得读者默认这一成分与前边的两个名词平行，并且一系列平行结束了，and sell前边的comma起了提示读者去找其他平行的作用，于是sell就顺理成章地与前边的 pilfer平行了。
