LBS essay 1. In what role do you see yourself working immediately after graduation?  Why?  How will your past and present experiences help you achieve this?  How will the London Business School MBA Programme contribute to this goal?  Finally, how do you see your career progressing five years after graduation?

How do you interprete "in what role"? is it equal to "in what position"? if so, what does LBS seek to evaluate from it?

Roughly the same. Purposes of this question? For now, I can think of at least one: to check if you have a clear plan for your future career.

So it demands a very specific career goal.Kind of different from most of other schools' "career goal" questions.
