学长您好，我是你们对面学校的哈哈哈哈（石牌校区）
因为有移民的想法 然后家里人对学校排名看中 所以想要申请麦马
我个人本科是商科但是我研究生想学理工一点的 本来一直考虑的Business Analytics和Information System但是发现安省适合的项目好少 于是开始考虑Finance
想请问一下这个项目偏理工科吗？要是我自学编程那些 将来就业可以做商业分析的工作吗？还是学经融的话找工作要找对口的？

I have heard about BA positions at major banks in Canada - those jobs requires some moderate programming skills and more importantly - a strong understanding in the business. I dont see a lot of MFin alumni in BA positions but I believe it is not hard because of your finance background.

However I am guessing you are talking about business analytics as in data science. I personally would assume if you want to be a data scientist, you need to more experienced with data management, which normally comes with a degree in statistics, or business analytics. In that case this is not the best program for you.

The program itself is quantitative skills demanding - but to be honest, a lot of us are working in jobs that are not quantitative at all. Finding the first job in Canada is just not easy. I think it is important to figure out what kind of career you want to have but to provide yourself some other options and time is key too.
