I am replying the message from the computer at work so I cant type in Chinese characters.
I have heard about BA positions at major banks in Canada - those jobs requires some moderate programming skills and more importantly - a strong understanding in the business. I dont see a lot of MFin alumni in BA positions but I believe it is not hard because of your finance background.
However I am guessing you are talking about business analytics as in data science. I personally would assume if you want to be a data scientist, you need to more experienced with data management, which normally comes with a degree in statistics, or business analytics. In that case this is not the best program for you.
The program itself is quantitative skills demanding - but to be honest, a lot of us are working in jobs that are not quantitative at all. Finding the first job in Canada is just not easy. I think it is important to figure out what kind of career you want to have but to provide yourself some other options and time is key too. |
