如果他们一定要美元存款，我觉得，按照你的解释，他们是可以理解的。如果还不行，建议想办法去中行开个证明，表明你的存款证明上的数额换成美金是多少，再把这个中行的证明拿去公证一下，就应该不会有问题了

This “bank letter” must be typed in English on the bank’s official stationery, and include the bank’s address and telephone number.  The letter must be dated, include the name of the account holder, the account number, when the account was opened, the amount in the account, the currency type, preferably expressed in United States dollars (USD).  NOTE:  RMB/CNY currency is not acceptable!  The letter must be signed by an official of the bank, whose name and official title must be typed as well.

恩，那看来现在变了。GSU是很繁琐的，而且还不给国际学生奖学金，但是对中国学生还是很偏爱的，去了后申到RA/GA的很多。

GSU的华裔教授很多，分布在各个学院，你申RA/GA的时候可以跨院申请他们的名额
