1.E的时态是一般现在时are，主句过去时claimed，这里是不是也错了？

bearing修饰的是an experiment（using special extrasensory perception cards），这里的bear是支撑的意思？

1. E项主要的错误是固定搭配错，capable的用法是be capable of doing sth。LZ提到的时态不一致问题，其实并不错。在英语中，表达客观事实时用一般现在时，不论是在从句还是主句中。举个例子：1) The sun rises in the east; 2) The teacher told the children that the earth moves around the sun. 这题是说一个通过试验数据论证的事实，所以用are。

2. 句意是说：通灵者Jesoph Banks Rhine做了一个使用特殊超感纸卡片的实验，每张卡片都有一套符号，通过实验，JBR声称他得到了数据可以证明实验主体能够通过思想迁移认出发牌员手上的牌。这里的bear是“具有”的意思

E选项的could identify不是一般常识（太阳从东边升起这种常识），而是这个实验的结果，不能用一般现在时。
