答案是C， the remainder of the increase coming.....为什么是对的？ 后半句话是什么成分？

这句话的主干翻译成中文就是：50种药的销量增额，占总药品销量增额的一半。题主问的remainder那句，修饰的是后一个increase。个人认为独立主格。
至于为什么是对的，因为如果用the ramainder of it/which这类的词，都会存在指代不明，在这种情况下直接点出是increase就不存在问题了。

这是独立主格。“逗号+名词+名词修饰语”就可以做独立主格结构，对前面的句子进行解释说明。搜一下独立主格就知道了，我记得中学讲过，可能后来我们不用就都忘了。

谢谢你的回复，我一直对独立主格不感冒，虽然感觉是独立主格，但是又不敢选，最后就错了。
