我不是大神啦。首先第一题比较的是price而非时间，不是想要把now 和 last year进行比较。应该用those 指代prices 。而第二题是在比较时间。

而且and raising 是和前面hurting的并列

In the second question, "last" refers to "last year's heating oil price" not "last year". It is explicitly stated in OG's explanation.  As I said, Ron could be WRONG.

不知道为什么第二题看出是比较时间。难道是因为 is expected to  吗

关于第一题，prices are higher than a year ago 和  prices are higher than those of a year ago都ok。OG解释有误，因为prices are higher than [prices] a year ago允许去掉 [prices]

A的问题是时态, Weather is hurting crops and therefore raised their prices是说气候正在干某件事，但因为正在干的这件事，crop prices在干这件事之前就发生了...

最重要的是...B没有硬伤，也没有瑕疵....
